**Job Description: Programme Associate – Sustainable Food Systems**
**Location:** New Delhi, India
**Experience Required:**
– Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in agricultural economics, public health, food systems, or bioenergy.
– Experience or exposure to Integrated Assessment Modelling (IAMs) and econometrics modeling is mandatory.
– Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Stata, or Python is required.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead end-to-end research projects, including framing research questions, conducting literature reviews, collecting data (both primary and secondary), performing analysis, and disseminating findings.
– Develop and implement strategies for stakeholder engagement, outreach, and policy impact.
– Collaborate with senior researchers to conceptualize new research initiatives and contribute to high-quality publications.
– Conduct fieldwork, including travel to states for meetings, community engagements, and data collection.
– Mentor junior team members, manage project budgets, and design proposals for donors.
**Requirements:**
– Strong academic background with a Master’s degree in economics, environmental economics, statistics, energy economics, public health, or related fields.
– Expertise in quantitative data analysis, mixed methods research, and stakeholder management.
– Knowledge of sustainable food systems, policy trends, and consumer behavior is essential.
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong communication skills are required.
