**Job Description: Programme Director (Labour)**

**Experience Required:** At least 10 years of experience in labour policy, economic policy, or related areas.
**Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:**
– Masters/PhD in Economics, Law, Public Policy, or Business.
– Proven track record in government engagement, including building high-trust relationships with officials.
– Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to lead state-level regulatory reforms in labour laws to boost economic growth and job creation.
– Experience in producing actionable knowledge products and translating reform ideas into policies.
– Knowledge of public administration, law, and public economics in India.
– Excellent writing, analysis, negotiation, team management, and engagement skills.
**Role Overview:**
The Programme Director (Labour) will drive state-level regulatory reforms to enhance flexibility in employer-employee relationships and reduce onerousness of regulatory compliance. They will conceptualise and oversee high-quality research products, lead reform engagements with government partners, and manage project planning and team development.
