WWF-India is one of the largest organizations in wildlife and nature conservation. We are seeking applications from incumbents for the Programme Officer vacancy within the Environment Education division.

Location: New Delhi

Job Profile:

  • Conduct intensive outreach and mobilise schools/colleges for environment education programs.
  • Assist in development and execution of school/college engagement plans.
  • Assist in identifying, engaging and coordinating with key stakeholders as per the program requirements.
  • Assist in development and execution of plans for visibility of the program.
  • Prepare timely and high quality documents and reports on project activities in compliance with WWF India’s and donor requirements as applicable.
  • Assist in conceptualising and organizing events, workshops, sessions in compliance with the requirements of the programme.
  • Develop and execute post engagement plan for the program beneficiaries.
  • Monitor program progress and impact against both programmatic and budgetary targets. Ensure that services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with the organization regulations.
  • Document project impact through surveys, testimonials, case studies etc. 

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Abilities:

  • A post graduate in education, environmental sciences or any other relevant field.
  • At least one-year experience working in the education or development sector, especially on programs catering to the school children or youth.
  • Ability to assist in outreach and mobilise institutions for environment education programs for children and youth.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage relationships with key stakeholders like vendors, institutions, resource people etc.
  • Ability to assist in conceptualising and organizing events, workshops, sessions etc.
  • Ability to assist in development and execution of digital communication plans for program visibility.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively and socialise with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to coordinate the conduct and evaluation of the program impact.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
