**Job Title:** Programme Policy Officer (Nutrition)

**Experience Required:**
* At least one year of professional experience in nutrition within the development sector.
* Experience working in partnership with government/UN agencies/INGOs or on projects addressing malnutrition at the community level is highly desirable.
* Proven experience implementing technical programs (e.g., nutrition).
* Experience in program implementation and contributing to operational design.
* Experience contributing to policy discussions and decisions.
**Key Accountabilities:**
* Provide project management support for nutrition projects, ensuring compliance with WFP standards.
* Track and analyze data for reporting, contributing to timely and accurate information for stakeholders.
* Liaise with implementing partners to monitor projects, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.
* Research and analyze policy and operational issues to inform program development.
* Support partner identification and partnership negotiations.
* Support capacity building for WFP staff, partners, and government entities.
* Guide state-level staff, providing support and analysis.
* Enhance coordination with key government stakeholders (e.g., Ministry of Women and Child Development).
* Represent WFP at national and sub-national nutrition meetings.
* Perform other duties as required.
**Qualifications:**
* Advanced University degree in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition, Food Technology, Medicine, or a relevant field.
* Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
**Knowledge & Skills:**
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Advocacy and networking skills with diverse stakeholders.
* Knowledge of research methods (quantitative and qualitative).
* Advanced computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).
* Knowledge of the UN system is an asset.
* Knowledge of WFP programs is an advantage.
