**Job Title:** Programme Specialist (Agriculture)

**About AKRSP(I):** AKRSP(I) is a program of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a global network working in over 30 countries. AKRSP(I) focuses on rural development initiatives across several Indian states. Their work encompasses Agriculture and Climate Change, Work and Enterprise, and Rural Governance.
**Job Location:** Pimpalner, [State – needs to be added based on location of Pimpalner]
**Experience Required:** 3-5 years of experience in the development sector.
**Responsibilities:**
* Implement program plans, monitor project activities and compliance at the field level.
* Ensure programmatic targets are achieved on time and within budget.
* Ensure quality work execution and result-oriented outcomes.
* Foster community participation in all activities.
* Integrate institutional perspectives into program design and implementation.
* Ensure women’s participation in all activities.
* Adhere to established implementation strategies.
* Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training programs for community members and field para-workers.
* Document case studies and best practices.
* Manage timely payments to labor and suppliers.
* Ensure financial transparency and timely reporting (MIS).
* Perform other tasks as assigned by AKRSP(I) management.
**Skills & Competencies:**
* Strong knowledge of rural development programs, agriculture, and natural resource management (NRM).
* Excellent command of Marathi, Hindi, and English.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
* Strong community mobilization skills.
* Ability to utilize newer technologies effectively.
* Excellent government liaison skills.
* Strong documentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Experience in social mobilization.
**Education:** B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Agriculture
