**Job Location:** New Delhi, India

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Budget and Compliance Specialist to join our team in New Delhi. This role will be responsible for managing project budgets, ensuring compliance with donor regulations, and providing financial support to research projects.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to donor guidelines.

* Monitor project expenditures, track budget variances, and prepare regular financial reports.

* Ensure compliance with donor regulations and CIP policies and procedures.

* Conduct financial audits and reviews of project activities.

* Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.

* Assist with the development of project proposals and budgets.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

* Collaborate with other departments, including finance, procurement, and human resources.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in project budget management and compliance.

* Strong understanding of donor regulations and financial reporting requirements.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Desired Skills:**

* Experience working with international development organizations.

* Knowledge of agricultural research and development.

* Proficiency in accounting software.
