**Job Title:** Project Coordinator (What Works Hub Research Project)

The organization works through a range of interventions focusing on preschool education, elementary education, inclusive education, and vocational training.
**About the Project:** Pratham Education Foundation and ASER Centre are conducting a three-year research study (April 2024 – March 2027) funded by the What Works Hub for Global Education (WWHGE). This study focuses on the long-term impact of foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) initiatives in India, analyzing teaching practices, delivery structures, teacher mindsets, and student progress. The research aims to understand how policies translate into classroom practice and identify areas for improvement.
**Job Location:** Pratham Office – New Delhi, India (with frequent travel to Uttar Pradesh and other relevant states)
**Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in project management and coordination.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive planning and implementation support for the project.
* Act as a liaison between state and central teams, ensuring effective communication.
* Manage operational logistics, including training sessions, meetings, and field visits.
* Oversee administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and documentation.
* Monitor project progress, address roadblocks, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
**Required Qualifications & Skills:**
* Minimum graduate degree; a degree in Education, Sociology, Public Policy, or a relevant social science discipline is preferred. A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi is mandatory. Fluency in other regional languages is a plus.
* Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
* Ability to multi-task, handle pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
* Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and willingness for extensive field travel.
* Familiarity with rural contexts and willingness to work in rural settings with basic facilities.
* Commitment to a minimum of two years with the project.
