**Job Summary:**

 

PATH seeks a Project Implementation Officer (on third-party payroll through Randstad) for its Maternal Anemia Project in Meghalaya.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing project activities at the district level, collaborating with government officials, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.  This position requires strong organizational, communication, and data management skills, along with experience in public health project implementation.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Design and implement project activities at the district level in collaboration with the state project lead.

* Secure necessary government approvals and permissions for project implementation.

* Monitor project activities through field visits and meetings with stakeholders.

* Coordinate with district officials and partners on project-related activities.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation, including reports, case studies, presentations, and best practices.

* Support Anemia Mukt Bharat-related activities at the district level.

* Support district-level deployment and training of healthcare workers (HCWs) to improve anemia interventions.

* Build capacity related to maternal anemia at the district level.

* Strengthen data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting systems.

* Maintain program databases, conduct data analysis, and generate reports.

* Model PATH’s values and people philosophy.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

**Required Experience and Qualifications:**

 

* **Education:** Post-graduation in Public Health/Social Work or equivalent from a reputable university.

* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in training and project implementation within public health settings.  Preferably 1-2 years of experience working on maternal health (MCH) and anemia projects.  Experience working with state and district officials is highly advantageous.  Proficiency in data management using MS Office is essential. Experience in a similar role and within the development sector/INGOs is preferred.

* **Skills:** Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi are required.  Knowledge of local languages (Khasi/Garo/Pnar) is a plus. Ability to independently produce documents and coordinate activities. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Familiarity with the Indian public health system. Strong organizational skills. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
