**Job Description: Project Lead – Central Square Foundation**

 

**Location:** Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India  

**Experience Required:** 6 to 9 years of relevant work experience

Central Square Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit philanthropic foundation established in 2012 with a vision to ensure quality school education for all children in India. The organization partners with individuals and social impact organizations to bring innovative solutions in education, building the capacity of the government to drive systemic impact.

 

**About the District Project Management Unit (DPMU):**  

The DPMU team strengthens the implementation of the NIPUN Mission at the district level by providing governance and academic support to key stakeholders. The unit consists of 4-5 Project Managers led by a Project Lead, who works with administrative and academic leaders to build mission salience, set goals, build capacity, and drive micro-innovations that enhance student learning.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. Building and maintaining relationships with district and block-level officials, including the District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Basic Shiksha Adhikari, DIET Principal, and Block Education Officers.  

2. Providing academic, governance, and monitoring oversight to the team to achieve project deliverables.  

3. Leading strategic planning, goal setting, and intervention by addressing bottlenecks, advocating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.  

4. Designing and driving data monitoring systems for large-scale projects, providing technical guidance and support to strengthen review committees and forums.  

5. Managing the team effectively.  

 

**Skills and Qualifications:**  

– Strong project management skills with proven program implementation experience.  

– Demonstrated ability to lead teams in operations-oriented projects.  

– Excellent people and project delivery skills, including creating project plans, driving execution, managing multiple projects, and influencing internal and external stakeholders.  

– Prior hands-on experience in the Indian education sector and with government stakeholders.  

– Proven ability to design and drive data monitoring systems for large-scale projects.  

– Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic bent of mind to derive actionable insights from data.  

 

**Compensation:**  

Remuneration will be competitive, aligned with Indian philanthropy pay scales, and dependent on the candidate’s experience level.
