**About the Role:**

Khan Academy India seeks a passionate Project Lead consultant to support its program within the Telangana government school system.  Based in Hyderabad, this role involves collaborating with the Senior Program Lead and the Department of School Education and SCERT Telangana to drive program implementation.  The successful candidate will work closely with various Khan Academy teams (Content, Partner Operations, Teacher Professional Development, and Data & Efficacy) to ensure high-quality program delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support program implementation by working with the Senior Program Lead and state officials to facilitate the adoption of the Khan Academy platform across Telangana’s government schools.  This includes taking ownership of work streams, achieving pre-agreed goals, and delivering training to education officials and teachers.  Continuous monitoring of training implementation and identification of challenges to strengthen the program are also crucial.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with administrative officials, including nodal officers, state resource persons, district-level officers, and school stakeholders.

* Gather data-backed insights through regular field visits (3-4 per week) and interactions with officials and teachers to inform strategic decisions and increase platform adoption and usage.

* Effectively document state discussions and keep stakeholders informed.  Analyze qualitative feedback to improve program effectiveness.

* Collaborate with other Khan Academy India teams to ensure timely and successful program delivery.

* Provide additional support as needed.

**Qualifications:**

* 5+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience as an educator or working with government schools in Telangana is highly desirable.

* Fluency in Telugu and English (spoken and written).

* Strong collaborative mindset and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

* Ability to navigate complex situations, make informed decisions, and align actions with shared goals.

* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Excellent ability to document information from multiple sources and present it clearly in English and Telugu.

* Proficiency in working with data, identifying trends, drawing evidence-based conclusions, and analyzing qualitative insights.

* Excellent communication skills across various formats (email, written documents, presentations, verbal conversations).

* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity, a willingness to experiment, and a bias toward action.

* Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact.

* Willingness to be based in Hyderabad and travel regularly across Telangana.
