About IIC: The IIC is a Social Impact Fellowship that aims to create scalable solutions for critical social challenges and nurture future leaders in the development space. The IIC India Program places teams of diverse young professionals within the Indian government and leading social enterprises. IIC teams have worked in a range of sectors, including urban development, gender, education, energy & environment, healthcare, and water & sanitation. Functionally, the IIC works on large- scale project management, organizational strengthening and capacity building, and data and policy analytics. We are seeking to hire a Project Lead for an air quality project with Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating an overall project strategy, design, deliverables, and work plans as defined by the partner organization.

• Identify best practices and research to feed into critical thinking for the adoption of the program.

• Closely work with government stakeholders, ecosystem partners, funders, to ensure alignment in efforts through update meetings.

• Support the IIC management with professional development of Project Associates (Fellows).

• Ensure that the Engagement Manager is consistently and appropriately informed on performance of Project Associates and project activities.

• Ensure timely implementation of the designed intervention with frequent outcome tracking and course-correction, if needed.

• Conceptualize communication and outreach strategy, events and roundtables to drive
the discourse on the identified project theme(s).

• Facilitating learning and professional development sessions.

• Present if required, IIC’s work and impact at leading conferences/workshops.

Competencies

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with
internal/external partners are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present in a simple
and straightforward way for non-technical audiences required.

• Ability to work and deliver on short deadlines.

• High aptitude in using Microsoft Office software.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience in consulting or non-profit firms

• Prior experience of working in ESG projects

• Prior experience in collaborating with high level government stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, public health, social sciences, or a similar field. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
