Our mission is to transform the school education system, focusing on improving learning outcomes, especially in low-income communities. 

 

**About the Schools Governance Team:**

 

The Schools Governance team at CSF envisions a school education delivery system that is accountable and transparent about its learning outcomes. We aim to measure and publicize the achievement of learning outcomes in public and private schools, and establish a State Schools Standards Authority based on these outcomes.

 

**Position Summary:**

 

CSF is seeking a Project Manager, Assessments, based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This role will focus on building the state’s SCERT’s capacity in developing high-quality competency-based census assessments (CCA). You will be responsible for strengthening their processes for creating questions, blueprints, and sample papers for primary and upper primary grade levels, as well as contributing to the development of the state’s curriculum framework. This position requires effective coordination with other bodies within the state’s education department (the Directorate, the Board, etc.). 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Conduct capacity-building workshops for the Assessment Cell of Rajasthan’s SCERT.

* Establish project management processes and guidelines to ensure all activities align with defined goals.

* Conduct relevant preliminary research as needed.

* Train personnel on using basic technology to improve their creation and review processes.

* Develop and manage technology for various program workstreams, facilitating smooth rollout in coordination with relevant departments.

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with government stakeholders at the state and district levels.

* Collaborate with expert teams at CSF to contextualize assigned workstreams for the state.

* Manage knowledge and document the implementation of work in the state.

 

**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university; a Master’s degree preferred (in education, development studies, public policy, or social sciences).

* 1.5 to 4 years of work experience, preferably in the education sector, demonstrating knowledge of curriculum development, assessment, and/or content creation.

* Keen interest in the Development/Education sector.

* Fluency in English and Hindi with excellent reading and writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates who know the local language well.

* Experience in handling large data and analysis (using spreadsheets or SQL) preferred.

* Past experience working with state and district-level governance and institutional structures is preferred.

* Knowledge and experience working on project management, large-scale program implementation with multiple delivery tracks, researching, and monitoring.

* Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
