Driven by its mission, CSF works to transform the school education system, particularly focusing on improving learning outcomes for children in low-income communities.

 

**About the Schools Governance Team:**

 

The Schools Governance team at CSF envisions a school education delivery system that is accountable and transparent about its learning outcomes. The team aims to measure and publicize the achievement of learning outcomes in public and private schools, ultimately establishing a State Schools Standards Authority for schools based on these outcomes. 

 

**The Opportunity:**

 

CSF is seeking a Project Manager, Assessments, to be based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The role involves building the state’s SCERT’s capacity to develop high-quality competency-based census assessments (CCA). This includes strengthening their processes for creating questions, blueprints, and sample papers for primary and upper primary grade levels, alongside contributing to the development of the state’s curriculum framework. Effective coordination with other bodies within the state’s education department (Directorate, Board, etc.) is crucial. This is a full-time role reporting to the Project Lead of the state CSF team.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Conduct capacity-building workshops for the Assessment Cell of Rajasthan’s SCERT, ensuring smooth functioning and delivery.

* Establish project management processes and guidelines, ensuring all activities align with defined goals.

* Conduct relevant preliminary research as required.

* Train personnel on basic technology to improve their creation and review processes.

* Curate and/or develop technology for various program workstreams, facilitating their smooth rollout in coordination with relevant departments.

* Develop and manage strong working relationships with government stakeholders at the state and district levels.

* Collaborate with expert teams at CSF on assigned work streams to contextualize them for the state.

* Manage knowledge and document the implementation of work within the state.

 

**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university, with a Master’s degree preferred (in education, development studies, public policy, or social sciences).

* 1.5 to 4 years of work experience, ideally in the education sector, demonstrating knowledge of curriculum development, assessment, and/or content creation.

* Strong interest in the Development/Education sector.

* Fluency in English and Hindi, with excellent reading and writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in the local language.

* Experience in handling large data and analysis (using spreadsheets or SQL) is preferred.

* Prior experience working with state and district-level governance and institutional structures is beneficial.

* Knowledge and experience in project management, large-scale program implementation with multiple delivery tracks, researching, and monitoring are desired.

* Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
