**About the Project:**
The “Promotion of Sustainable School WASH and Decentralized Rural & Urban Solid Waste Management Programme” in Bapatla and Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh aims to improve public health and environmental sustainability. This initiative equips schools with improved WASH facilities, fostering a healthy learning environment for students. The program also promotes decentralized solid waste management practices in rural and urban areas, emphasizing waste segregation, recycling, and responsible disposal methods.
**Job Description:**
The Project Manager will oversee the implementation and management of WASH projects in schools and a SWM program in urban and rural areas. This includes ensuring all activities meet quality standards, promoting hygiene awareness, and creating sustainable waste management systems in educational institutions, villages, and wards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Project Planning and Implementation:**
* Develop detailed work plans for WASH and SWM activities.
* Ensure all programs are executed according to established timelines and budgets.
* Build and develop interactive IEC and BCC content for various stakeholders.
* **Monitoring and Evaluation:**
* Monitor project progress and prepare timely reports for donors.
* Conduct regular evaluations to assess the impact of the WASH and SWM projects.
* Participate in quarterly audits by PME partner.
* Attend monthly meetings with the donor.
* Plan activities and prepare fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:**
* Coordinate with school administrators, local governments (Zilla Parishad, District, Block, MPDOs, Sarpanch), and community groups.
* Plan, coordinate, and conduct training for key stakeholders on safe sanitation technology, ODF++, ODF Sustainability, and Solid and Liquid Waste Management.
* **Compliance and Reporting:**
* Maintain documentation and reports to demonstrate compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
* Document case studies and success stories.
* Prepare progress reports (Behavior Change Communication, Infrastructure and Operations & Maintenance).
* Maintain MIS Trackers.
* **Team Leadership:**
* Manage a team of field staff and volunteers.
* Provide technical guidance and support to ensure effective project delivery.
**Qualifications:**
* Any Graduate/Post Graduation (BSW/MSW, B.Tech (Civil), B.Sc/M.Sc (Environment Science))
**Experience:**
5/7 Years in Development Sector/Corporate Sector on the areas of Waste Management, Skill Development, Training, and Capacity Building

**Remuneration:**
INR 35000/- to INR 40000/- PM (Negotiable for eligible candidates), Travel as per organisation norms
