## Project Manager – Tech & Innovation

**About SELCO Foundation:**

SELCO Foundation is an open source, not for profit organization dedicated to deploying clean energy solutions for poverty alleviation in India. We work collaboratively with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions to connect the benefits of sustainable energy with poverty eradication. Our work spans verticals like energy access, health, and livelihoods.  SELCO Foundation actively integrates sustainable energy-driven solutions to improve lives and livelihoods in Assam, focusing on value chains like millets, rice, pulses, dairy, poultry, piggery, etc.  

**The Role:**

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Project Manager to join our Tech & Innovation team. This role focuses on identifying and developing early-stage decentralized renewable energy-driven products/processes and demonstrating their potential for impact creation and scale.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct primary and secondary research on suitable technologies for the sector.

* Provide technical support on the technologies and train stakeholders on their use.

* Recommend solar power systems and deliver techno-commercial feasibility studies based on field surveys.

* Provide support in the selection, design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects.

* Conduct technical market research for relevant technologies across diverse geographies, livelihoods, and health value chains for our innovation and scale programs.

* Prepare product manuals, training documents, and in-depth research documents.

* Develop solar system designs and conduct on-site troubleshooting as needed.

* Monitor and evaluate the implemented technologies.

* Demonstrate openness to innovation, R&D, and improvement in existing technologies and components.

**Qualifications:**

* Graduate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Energy Engineering.

* Relevant experience of 6-7 years in renewable energy (particularly solar energy) is an added advantage.

* Ability to stay motivated and perform independently.

* Willingness to travel extensively.

* Interest and ability to communicate effectively with communities, stakeholders, and team members.

* Strong passion for working with energy and technology solutions for decentralized renewable energy-based livelihoods.

**Job Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

**Starting Date:** Immediately.
