## Project Manager (Livelihood-Innovation)

**Experience Required:** 5+ years of experience in a related field.

 

**About the Role:**

 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager to join our Livelihood-Innovation team. This role will play a pivotal part in driving the implementation of our diverse innovation portfolios, focusing on the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Anchor and streamline various innovation portfolios, focusing on the BTR region.

* Manage innovation and action research phases, including user and market research, testing, prototyping, piloting, and more.

* Provide guidance and support to grow the different livelihood innovation portfolios (agriculture, animal husbandry, textiles & crafts, and micro-businesses).

* Ensure effective coordination within and across the organization for smooth implementation of our innovation and ecosystem approach.

* Design and integrate solar PV systems into decentralized renewable energy systems.

* Test DRE-enabled solution packages and document learning, case studies, and reports.

* Develop and implement the annual work plan for the team, from need identification to demonstrating impact.

* Benchmark solutions for scalability, including technical specifications, business models, and value propositions for end users and stakeholders.

* Actively solicit feedback from end users and stakeholders for course correction, refinement, and evolution of solutions.

* Provide support to team members in project conceptualization, formulation, implementation, and handholding.

* Contribute to other organizational activities like events, discussions, and exposure meetings.

 

**Key Requirements:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural engineering, livestock management, biotechnology engineering, or clean energy engineering preferred.

* Proven experience in technology mapping, research, and analysis.

* Experience managing programs in the development sector is desirable.

* A strong understanding of and commitment to promoting sustainable energy access.

* Ability to communicate in the Bodo language is highly preferred.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Willingness to travel to remote and challenging terrains.
