About the role

The Project Manager – Mati Chhattisgarh will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Project implementation to include sourcing and logistics for scaling Mati operations. The role will involve the development of the Mati deployment Operations, the hiring of additional equipment required for efficient deployment, and promulgate processes for Truck Logistics and material sourcing to optimize cost and ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong senior leader with high levels of integrity who can join the management ranks to lead the company from the front. The role will require personal leadership skills to manage a team. It will also require the ability to manage vendor and customer relationships with a knack for striking a favorable deal. The Project Manager – Mati Carbon at Chhattisgarh will need to actively establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work in coordination with colleagues and directors to identify potential business opportunities for Mati Carbon in the Climate Change space from the perspective of Carbon Removals.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Over 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years in Project implementation in a senior position.
Experience in managing vendors & customers along with negotiating contracts and agreements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a functionally diverse team.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Mati operations activities in accordance with the assigned targets.
Develop the processes for truck logistics for the company’s sourcing and logistical operations.
Develop a monitoring system and tools to ensure the procurement processes are transparent.
Manage operations in Chhattisgarh, ensuring full compliance of applicable govt regulations.
Develop and implement economy measures to optimize all aspects of business operations.
Develop and implement sourcing and logistics strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Analyze and monitor performance data to identify areas for improvement and change.
Keep track of trends, technologies, and regulations related to Carbon removal activities and recommend ways to improve the company’s operations.
Develop measures to ensure the product delivery is of the highest quality.
Create technological breakthroughs to make the process more efficient.
Manage and lead Chhattisgarh team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Maintain high levels of integrity in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
