**Job Description: Project Manager – Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)**
**Location:** Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India

**Experience Required:**
Candidates must have 6-8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) within the private or public sector, particularly in the development sector. Prior education sector experience, especially in assessment-informed instruction, is highly valued.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Contribute to the design and strategy of Peepul’s MEL function.
– Collaborate on monitoring and impact evaluations, both internally and with external agencies.
– Evaluate program performance using established frameworks, particularly for assessment reforms in Bhopal.
– Implement systems and processes to enhance MEL and program cycles.
– Drive data-based decision-making within the organization.
– Lead the design of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for Peepul programs.
– Ensure timely implementation of monitoring projects with a focus on quality assurance.
– Build capacity among program teams in impact definition, data interpretation, and decision-making.
– Shape thought leadership in the education sector through research and collaboration.
– Produce high-quality evaluation reports for internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
– Educational background in international development, statistics, education, public policy, economics, or a related field.
– Expertise in designing, implementing, and executing MEL systems, including indicator selection, data collection, reporting, and database management.
– Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, Alteryx, or Python.
– Language Proficiency: English and Hindi.
