**About the Livelihoods Program:**
SELCO Foundation’s Livelihoods program integrates sustainable energy solutions into agriculture, microbusinesses, and animal husbandry. With over 10,000 DRE (Decentralized Renewable Energy)-based livelihood solutions deployed, the program aims to reach 50,000 more end-users in the next five years. The program provides rural entrepreneurs with solar-powered machinery and plants. Quality control in product supply and installation is crucial to the program’s success.
**Position Summary:**
The Project Manager – Quality Control will coordinate and implement Operations & Maintenance (O&M) plans across North East India, Odisha, and Karnataka. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and sustainability of SELCO’s livelihood initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement quality control procedures for SELCO’s DRE installations for livelihoods.
* Conduct audits of SELCO’s livelihood DRE technologies across regions and vendors.
* Provide training and support to vendor staff on quality installations and quality control procedures.
* Collaborate with SELCO’s product development team to ensure new livelihood DRE technologies meet quality standards and incorporate feedback mechanisms.
* Stay current on the latest quality control standards and best practices.
* Undertake field visits across regional geographies in India as needed.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
* 7 to 10+ years of experience in quality control for renewable energy technologies.
* Strong knowledge of solar installation processes.
* Experience conducting quality control audits and delivering training programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
