## Project Manager, State Reform (Bhopal)
**About Central Square Foundation:**
Central Square Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving learning outcomes for all schoolgoing children in India. Established in 2012, CSF focuses on system-led reforms, spanning innovation, policy, and practice, to achieve learning impact at scale.
CSF’s mission revolves around Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and collaborates with 11 state governments to design and implement statewide FLN missions. The organization prioritizes EdTech integration, aiming to deploy digital solutions for in-class and at-home learning and establish evidence-based practices. CSF is deeply committed to Early Childhood Education (ECE) reforms and School Governance, strengthening the country’s education landscape.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **FLN Academic Materials and School-based Assessments:** Design and manage materials used in FLN classrooms across the state, ensuring quality and effective delivery.
* **Teacher Professional Development:** Develop and oversee FLN training programs for teachers, delivered through face-to-face sessions and digital platforms.
* **Mentoring Programs for Teachers:** Identify, train, and support mentors who provide regular support to teachers through school visits.
* **System Assessment of FLN Outcomes:** Conduct annual district-level assessments of student learning outcomes, including framework development, design of assessment items, and data analysis for district reviews.
* **FLN Monitoring System:** Develop technology tools for collecting KPIs, manage vendor development, and ensure data quality for decision-making.
* **Managing FLN Fellow’s Projects:** Support FLN Fellows placed at the district level to execute projects aimed at improving mission implementation.
* **Delivering CSF-led District Accelerator Programs:** Collaborate with district officials to improve the adoption of mission activities and enhance governance structures.
* **Delivering Central Team Projects to Support State Teams:** Contribute to central monitoring exercises, generate insights for advisory boards and donors, and provide performance management support.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university; a master’s degree is preferred.
* Prior experience working with government stakeholders is required.
* 2 to 4 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably with a government entity, demonstrating strong project delivery and management skills.
* Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and make recommendations.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills with an action-oriented mindset.
* Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and oral.
* Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government stakeholders.
* Prior exposure to the education sector, public/development sector, or consulting is preferred.
* Mission-driven, optimistic, and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to achieving positive change.
* Willingness to be based in Bhopal and travel regularly to Delhi and other districts in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana.
