**Job Description: Project Manager – Strategic Support States**  

**Location:** Medak, Telangana, India

Central Square Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit philanthropic foundation established in 2012 with the mission to ensure quality school education for all children in India. CSF focuses on transforming the school education system, particularly in low-income communities, to improve children’s learning outcomes. The foundation collaborates closely with state governments and other stakeholders to design and implement interventions that enhance educational outcomes.  

 

**About the Role:**  

The Project Manager – Strategic Support States will work as part of the Strategic Support States (SSS) team at Central Square Foundation. This team assists states in designing and implementing their respective missions to achieve Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) learning outcomes for children. The role involves working closely with district administrations, education officers, and other stakeholders to create and execute detailed District Action Plans (DAP), monitor progress, and ensure the effective implementation of FLN missions.  

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Collaborate with district administrations to implement and monitor district-level strategies aligned with state FLN mission goals.  

– Conduct small-scale pilot interventions to address district-specific challenges and improve learning outcomes.  

– Provide stakeholder capacity building, conduct awareness campaigns, and ensure effective communication of FLN initiatives.  

– Monitor and analyze data to drive actionable insights, improve MIS efficiency, and enhance data quality.  

– Document program progress, achievements, and impact, ensuring timely reporting and accurate documentation.  

 

**Qualifications:**  

– Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education, development studies, public policy, or social sciences.  

– Minimum 2 years of work experience in the education sector, with a focus on project delivery and stakeholder management.  

– Experience working with state and district-level governance structures is highly desirable.  

– Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables and monitor progress.  

– Excellent communication skills in Telugu and English, with the ability to travel frequently (at least 15 days per month).  

– Keen interest in education and development sectors, with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability to ambiguous environments.
