**Job Description: Project Officer (Link Women Project)**  

**Location:** Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Bhopal

**Key Responsibilities:**  

The Project Officer will play a pivotal role in implementing the Link Women project phase-II across Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal, and Indore. This initiative aims to empower 5000 women and girls from marginalized families by enhancing their education, employability skills, and employment opportunities. Key functions include:  

– Collaborating with the Technical Resource Agency (TRA) under the guidance of the Project Lead to ensure successful project execution.  

– Collecting accurate data for monitoring and documentation purposes.  

– Identifying eligible candidates through criteria development, mobilization, and aptitude testing.  

– Organizing awareness campaigns and sessions with parents to influence behavior change and create an enabling environment for girls.  

– Promoting the formation of Girls Led Networks among participants.  

– Creating role models and documenting success stories through case studies and short videos.  

– Conducting beneficiaries’ satisfaction surveys to assess project impact.  

– Delivering career guidance and vocational skill development sessions based on predefined modules.  

– Mapping industries, organizing exposure visits, and facilitating internships/work opportunities for girls.  

– Networking with stakeholders, including academic institutions and industries, to support project goals.  

– Ensuring adherence to Plan India’s safeguarding policy throughout project implementation.

 

**Qualifications:**  

– Advanced university degree in Social Science, Business Management, or a related field.  

– Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in managing large-scale community development projects.  

– Proven experience in operations, management, and strategic implementation planning.  

– Strong understanding of project planning cycles and ability to produce high-quality reports.  

– Familiarity with relevant government policies, schemes, and guidelines related to community development.  

– Fluency in spoken, reading, and writing English and Hindi is essential.  

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
