**Job Description: Project Specialist – Entrepreneurship Development**  

**Location:** Ahmedabad/Gadu (Junagadh), Gujarat  

 

**Experience Required:** Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing entrepreneurship and livelihood development projects with rural communities, particularly focusing on women and youth.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Overall management of the entrepreneurship development programme.  

– Organising events, workshops, and promotional activities to raise awareness about entrepreneurship among youth.  

– Identifying and addressing the entrepreneurship development needs of rural entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth.  

– Planning and implementing training programmes, exposure visits, and financial support for selected entrepreneurs.  

– Liaising with government departments and financial institutions to provide support to entrepreneurs.  

– Developing and maintaining project data and MIS for reporting purposes.  

– Preparing periodic progress reports to communicate project outcomes effectively.  

– Managing and planning the programme budget.  

– Conducting extensive travel to rural project areas as required.  

 

**Skills & Competencies Required:**  

– Strong understanding of rural enterprises, livelihoods, and income generation opportunities in rural areas.  

– Good knowledge of the entrepreneurship development process, training needs, local ecosystem, and support structures.  

– Excellent team management and stakeholder engagement skills.  

– Proficiency in MIS management, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.  

– Strong report writing and communication abilities.  

– Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and systems.  

– Effective project management skills.
