Role Context: He / She will be responsible for Software testing and testing for web based applications. Exposure to complex applications and test scenario is required.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create and document test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
- Work closely with Product/Platform teams, analyze functional requirements and their use cases.
- Work in a collaborative environment where you regularly pair, plan, and execute tasks as a team.
- Complete ownership on features, involvement as a quality engineer in design inception, development, testing and release to Production.
- Oversee the overall QA lifecycle, from test planning to implementation, execution and results reporting with minimal supervision.
- Participate within the Agile process.
Skills, Experience & Qualification:
• BTech/BE in Computer Science/Information science/Electronics or equivalent course.
• 2-4 years of Enterprise Software Testing experience with a strong technical background in delivering high-quality products.
• Should have experience in Manual testing and extensive knowledge on Testing concepts.
• Should have experience in REST API’s Testing and familiar with Postman or SOAP UI or any other tools.
• Should have experience with iOS and Android Mobile apps testing.
• Should have experience on API Automation using Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured or any other tools.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Knowledge on Selenium and exposure in developing UI Automation using Selenium/Java.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Passion for learning, sharing your knowledge and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, reporting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with Agile and Kanban / Scrum processes and following strong development and testing processes.
• Extensive hands on experience in JIRA.
