## Regional Coordinator

 

**Reliance Foundation** is seeking a skilled and experienced **Regional Coordinator** to join our team. This is a **full-time, fixed-term** contract position with an expected duration of **1 year** and the possibility of extension.  The position is based in **Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh** with extensive travel required across rural areas within the assigned region.

**Job Description:**

 

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with strong experience in the relevant enterprise sector. You will play a dual role, providing support to specific enterprises within your assigned region, as well as coordinating and monitoring government programs.  

 

**Specific Responsibilities:**

 

* **Enterprise Support:**

    * Map existing enterprises and identify potential new opportunities within your specialization.

    * Develop and implement feasible business plans for existing and new enterprises.

    * Analyze and improve operational performance, including capacity utilization, raw material planning, manpower management, and working capital requirements.

    * Ensure strong market linkages and align production and sales with business plans.

    * Establish prototype enterprise models with comprehensive support, including fund mobilization, business planning, machinery identification, raw material procurement, manpower planning, quality standards, packaging, and marketing.

* **Government Coordination & Monitoring:**

    * Facilitate and strengthen relationships with district-level government agencies.

    * Coordinate with the Field Implementation Agencies (FIAs) to ensure program implementation and alignment.

    * Collaborate with district administration and FIA teams to ensure program convergence and reporting.

    * Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to the program.

 

**Qualifications & Experience:**

 

**Must-haves:**

 

* Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Agriculture, Food Technology, Fashion/Textiles).

* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working in a similar enterprise sector (e.g., dal mills, millet processing units, stitching centers, poultry farming, goatery, homemade food products).

* Proven track record of success in the relevant enterprise sector.

* Experience developing and implementing marketing channels, including direct, retail, wholesale, online, reselling, and franchising.

 

**Preferred Qualifications:**

 

* Experience working on rural development projects.

* Experience working with women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and SHG federations.

 

**Key Competencies:**

 

* Excellent computer skills and proficiency in English.

* Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas and stay in remote villages.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with rural communities.

* Proven business skills (business planning, product knowledge, technology) and marketing expertise.

* Fluency in Hindi, Gujarati, and Oriya is a significant advantage.

 

**Compensation:**

 

The salary range for this position is ₹600,000 – ₹900,000 per year.
