**Job Description**

 

The Regional Project Operations Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Regional Project Analyst and general guidance of the Operations Analyst. This role will support project implementation,  ensure smooth operations, and contribute to the overall success of development initiatives within the region. 

 

**Key Responsibilities**

 

* Provide administrative and logistical support to project activities, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and preparing reports.

* Assist with data collection and analysis, including managing project databases and conducting research.

* Support the development and implementation of project communication strategies.

* Liaise with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate project coordination and collaboration.

* Maintain project documentation and records in accordance with UNDP guidelines.

* Assist with the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

* Undertake other related tasks as assigned.

 

**Required Qualifications**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as development studies, international relations, or business administration.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in an international development context.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Commitment to the mission and values of UNDP.

 

**Desired Qualifications**

 

* Experience working with UN agencies or other international organizations.

* Knowledge of project management methodologies.

* Fluency in a second language, particularly French or Spanish.
