**Job Description:**

WWF India, the largest nature conservation organization in India, seeks a dynamic Relationship/Retention Officer to join its tele-fundraising team in Mumbai.  This role requires excellent communication and networking skills to effectively engage potential and existing donors.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop resourceful strategies to raise awareness about India’s biodiversity.

* Articulate WWF India’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors in a compelling and engaging manner.

* Contact donors via phone calls, clearly explaining WWF India’s conservation work to generate funds.

* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors and volunteers, upgrading them within the donor pyramid.

* Achieve assigned fundraising targets set by the line manager.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Postgraduate/MBA preferred) from a recognized university.

* Excellent English communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and connect with individuals.

* Strong performance orientation and collaborative team spirit.

* Enthusiasm and drive to inspire others and promote WWF-India’s work.

* Public speaking skills and/or business development experience.

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Prior experience in sales or telecommunications is advantageous.
