## Research Analyst (Geospatial Modelling) – Climate

 

**Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW)**, a leading research institution based in New Delhi, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Analyst to join our Climate team.

**Job Location:** New Delhi, India

 

**Experience Required:**

 

* **Minimum 2 years of experience** in geospatial modelling, preferably in the climate change domain.

* Strong understanding of climate change science and its impacts.

* Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.) and remote sensing techniques.

* Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and visualization.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and apply geospatial models to assess climate change impacts on various sectors, including agriculture, water resources, and human health.

* Analyze spatial data from various sources, including satellite imagery, climate models, and ground-based observations.

* Develop maps, charts, and other visualizations to communicate research findings effectively.

* Contribute to research reports, policy briefs, and presentations.

* Collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to develop and implement climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Master’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Climate Change, or a related field.

* Strong academic record with a focus on geospatial modelling and climate change.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Passion for contributing to a sustainable future.
