SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to field-based research and development, and ecosystem building for clean energy solutions aimed at poverty alleviation in underserved communities across India.  Working collaboratively with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions, SELCO Foundation links sustainable energy benefits to poverty eradication across various sectors including energy access, health, livelihoods, and enterprise development.

**Job Description:**

The Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP), launched in 2021, aims to transform the understanding of SDG7 (Sustainable Energy for All) in prioritizing climate resilience among impoverished populations.  This role will be crucial in continuing SELCAP’s work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead research initiatives, narrative development, and events for SELCAP.

* Monitor sector trends and narratives to inform organizational activities.

* Develop and implement a communication strategy for disseminating key learnings and best practices.

* Develop innovative communication methods to improve the uptake of key narratives, concepts, and approaches internally and externally.

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure an ecosystem approach and cross-learning.

* Conduct regular team meetings to track milestones and share best practices.

* Design and manage partnerships, creating long-term strategic plans.

* Develop regular blogs, newsletters, and updates to inform the sector about the organization’s key learnings.

**Experience Required:**

* Minimum 3 years of experience in the innovation and entrepreneurship sector.

* Demonstrated interest in social enterprises, impact innovation and investment, sustainability, and climate action.

* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyze multiple information streams with meticulous attention to detail.

* Proven ability to process complex information and present it concisely.

* Experience in conducting primary research and building coalitions or networks.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a steep learning curve.

* Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment.

* Willingness to travel.
