**Job Description: Research Analyst – Mobility**

**Job Overview:**
CEEW’s Sustainable Mobility team is seeking a Research Analyst to join their dynamic team, dedicated to transforming road transport through data-driven solutions. The role involves analyzing EV adoption patterns, charging infrastructure requirements, and the energy-transport nexus, including renewable energy integration and smart charging technologies. This position requires exceptional programming and analytical skills, as well as a passion for sustainable transportation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conducting analyses involving complex data layers, network analysis, and detailed visualization of outputs related to public transit, socio-economics, pollution, congestion, land-use, and survey data.
2. Cleaning, managing, and analyzing extensive datasets to generate valuable insights and support research questions.
3. Formulating predictive models using statistical techniques and geospatial analytics (GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS).
4. Supporting stakeholder engagements by maintaining relationships and seeking new partnerships.
5. Generating knowledge content through blogs, articles, and briefs.
6. Collaborating across research teams to support project planning and execution.
**Qualifications:**
– Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
– 1+ years of work experience in data science, EV technologies, energy research, or mobility analytics.
– Strong foundation in programming (e.g., Python, SQL) and quantitative analysis.
– Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and geospatial software (QGIS, ArcGIS).
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multi-disciplinary projects.
**Key Skills:**
– Intermediate to advanced levels of software programming proficiency (SQL, Python).
– Strong quantitative, data analytics, and modeling experience.
– Proficiency in spatial analysis and geospatial tools.
– Ability to carry out literature reviews and communicate findings effectively.
– Willingness to solve complex problems in sustainable mobility.
**Additional Considerations:**
Experience in EV technology, charging infrastructure, traffic flow modeling, or EV policies at national or city levels is a plus.
