**Position Overview:**
CSEP seeks a Research Assistant/Analyst for its Foreign Policy and Security Studies vertical. The role involves supporting research initiatives and contributing to innovative thought in international relations and foreign policy, with a focus on climate change and energy transitions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Support research projects that inform policy decisions.
– Analyze India’s international climate diplomacy strategies, including climate finance and global supply chains related to critical minerals.
– Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information from various sources.
– Assist with programmatic coordination for non-research activities.
**Qualifications:**
– **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
– **Experience:** 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred; recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
– **Knowledge and Skills:**
– Strong understanding of international relations theories, geopolitics, and global affairs.
– Interest in climate and energy issues is highly desirable.
– Proficiency in qualitative research and familiarity with quantitative analysis.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
– Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing multiple tasks effectively.
