**Job Description: Research & Design – Shikshagraha**

**Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka  

**Experience Required:** Minimum 3 years  

**Salary Range:** INR 600,000 – 800,000 per annum

A key initiative under Mantra4Change’s Inspire program, Shikshāgraha aims to enhance education quality by catalyzing collective action across 100 districts. It seeks to impact 40 million children by 2025 through decentralized school improvement programs.

**Role Overview:**  

The Design and Research Lead role involves understanding grassroots challenges, conducting research, and designing innovative solutions for stakeholders. Ideal for those with experience in primary/secondary research and program design.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Develop tools to identify school and teacher needs.

– Analyze implementation gaps and collaborate on responses.

– Design pilot-ready solutions and refine based on data.

– Create case studies and position papers.

– Strategize solution dissemination.

– Build new partnerships for learning and resource sharing.

– Participate in meetings, workshops, and forums.

– Foster team capacity through shared learning and support.

**Experience & Competencies:**

– Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

– Degree in education or equivalent.

– Experience teaching in low-income schools.

– Prior research experience and problem-solving skills.

– Effective planning and time management abilities.

– Strong English communication skills.
