**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Experience Required:** Minimum 5 years of experience.
**About the Role:**
The Design and Research Lead will identify grassroots challenges, conduct research, and design innovative solutions for educational stakeholders. This role involves primary and secondary research and leading program design.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
* Research and develop tools to assess the needs of schools, teachers, and education leaders.
* Analyze implementation gaps, collaborate on effective responses, and customize programs.
* Design pilot-ready solutions based on research findings.
* Collaborate on solution piloting, data collection, and refinement.
* Create case studies, research papers, and dissemination strategies for solutions targeting Headmasters, teachers, DIETs, and BRPs.
* Develop learning environments and build team capacity through shared learning and accountability.
**Experience & Competencies Required:**
* Minimum 5 years of experience and a degree in education or an equivalent field.
* Preferred: Experience leading design efforts for adult education, particularly school leadership development.
* Preferred: Experience handling and analyzing large datasets (spreadsheets or other tools).
* Preferred: Experience working with state and district-level governance structures.
* Preferred: Experience teaching in low-income or government schools.
* Proven experience in primary and secondary research and problem-solving.
* Effective planning and time management skills.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
**Remuneration:** INR 700,000 – 800,000 per annum (depending on competency and experience)
