**Job Description: Research Fellow – Health Policy**  

**Location:** New Delhi  

 

The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) is an independent, non-partisan public policy think tank based in New Delhi. CSEP conducts research and analysis on critical issues facing India and the world, providing evidence-based recommendations to address these challenges. The organization works across domains such as Health and Human Development, Energy, Natural Resources, Climate Change, Sustainability, and Foreign Policy and Security.  

 

**About the Role:**  

CSEP is seeking a highly qualified and motivated **Research Fellow** in Health Policy to contribute to research on primary healthcare systems, health financing, and policies across Asia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in economics, public health, or related fields with a focus on health policy and systems.  

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Conceptualize and conduct research studies on primary healthcare systems across the Asian region.  

– Analyze large datasets using quantitative and qualitative methodologies to derive meaningful insights.  

– Build partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders in Asia to advance health policy research.  

– Organize regional convenings and contribute to policy dialogues.  

– Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and research findings for internal and external audiences.  

 

**Requirements:**  

– A PhD in economics, public health, or a related field from a globally recognized institution.  

– Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, R, Python, or EViews.  

– Experience in quantitative analysis and empirical research with a focus on health policy.  

– Knowledge of primary healthcare systems, ideally with regional expertise in Asia.  

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.  

– Strong networking abilities and teamwork skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.  

– Willingness to travel within Asia for research and collaboration.
