**About the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development (CPID):**
CPID is dedicated to catalyzing effective philanthropy for social justice and strengthening the philanthropic ecosystem globally. Through research, learning programs, knowledge exchange, and convening diverse voices, CPID aims to build a community of change-makers driving systemic change and becoming a hub of actionable knowledge for philanthropy focused on inclusive development.
**Job Summary:**
We seek a passionate and experienced research professional to lead the research agenda for the CPID. This role will involve conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive research framework, leading a research team, and producing high-quality research outputs to inform and influence the philanthropic sector.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement the overall research framework for the Centre, in collaboration with the Centre Lead.
* Create detailed research plans aligned with the Centre’s objectives and SOPs.
* Oversee the Centre’s research governance process.
* Conduct high-quality independent research studies using appropriate methodologies.
* Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of research outputs.
* Produce high-quality research reports and publications for various audiences.
* Collaborate with the Dissemination team to create impactful materials for stakeholders.
* Manage the Centre’s research budget effectively.
* Foster collaborative research internally and externally.
* Manage relationships with the Research Council, external partners, and other stakeholders.
* Translate research findings into teaching modules for ISDM programs.
* Identify and manage the resources and personnel needed to achieve research objectives.
* Build and lead a high-performing research team.
**Qualifications:**
* 10-15 years of experience in applied research on philanthropy or the social sector.
* Proven experience leading a research team to deliver successful projects.
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to take ownership, work collaboratively, and solve problems effectively.
**Compensation:**
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
