**About the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development:**
The Centre aims to increase private philanthropic investment in inclusive development by influencing the approaches of funders, social purpose organizations (SPOs), and intermediaries. The goal is to drive systemic change that empowers underserved communities, causes, and regions.
**Job Description:**
The Research Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of philanthropy at ISDM’s Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of leading impactful research initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement a comprehensive research framework and strategic operating plan in collaboration with Centre leadership and ISDM stakeholders.
* Oversee the execution of high-quality research projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
* Produce impactful research reports and collaborate with the communications team to disseminate findings effectively.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with sector leaders, academics, partners, and donors to foster collaborative research.
* Translate research findings into practical tools, teaching modules, and learning programs for practitioners.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing research team.
**Experience Required:**
10-15 years of experience in applied research focused on philanthropy or the social sector. Proven success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder research projects.
