**Position Summary:**
The Research Manager/Senior Research Manager will lead social research, including survey design, data collection, case studies, and analysis. They will manage a multi-year study evaluating the impact of Section 12(1)(c) of the Right to Education Act on disadvantaged children across three Indian states.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Design and refine research instruments for mixed-methods studies.
– Oversee field research and data collection, ensuring rigorous procedures.
– Conduct qualitative research through interviews and focus groups.
– Integrate quantitative and qualitative data for comprehensive analysis.
– Manage project timelines, mentor teams, and ensure ethical data handling.
– Engage stakeholders and prepare progress reports.
– Stay updated on research methods and contribute to team training.
**Requirements:**
– **Education:** Master’s in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Work, Political Science, Sociology; or Bachelor’s with 3+ years of relevant experience.
– **Experience:** 2-4 years in qualitative/quantitative research, surveys, data collection, and project management.
– **Skills:** Expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, project management, fieldwork, data analysis. Preferred skills include R, Tableau, NVivo, and program management software.
**Benefits:**
– Salary range: INR 7-11 LPA.
