**Job Title:** Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist

Established in 2006 as a public-private initiative, PHFI operates through regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and centers focused on core public health themes. Governed by an independent board, PHFI aims to enhance institutional capacity and systems for better public health outcomes.
**Qualifications:**
– **Essential:** MD in Community Medicine or PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
**Experience Required:**
– 1-3 years of experience in implementing community-based research projects.
– Publishing manuscripts in high-impact factor journals.
– Proficiency in data analysis software such as R, Stata, NVivo, or MAXQDA.
**Deliverables:**
– Draft questionnaires and standard operating procedures for research activities.
– Review literature to inform tool development.
– Contribute to the design and implementation of pilot studies and randomized controlled trials.
– Coordinate with field staff and statisticians for data collection and analysis.
– Ensure timely submission of institutional ethics committee applications.
– Manage study databases, review data accuracy, and contribute to reports and publications.
– Engage in capacity-building initiatives and collaborate with communications teams for research dissemination.
