The Analyst at SELCO Foundation will be a key resource to accumulate information from various departments of the organization, analyzing/treating/editing/compiling it for the purpose of internal programmatic knowledge support as well as external communication. Analysis of data will be both qualitative and quantitative in nature and will be primarily drawn from learnings and implementations carried out by the foundation in the course of its programmatic activities. The analyst will be expected to provide foundational, synthesised information feeding into various reports created by the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing consultations with team members to gather primary information. This would be via conversations, analysis of available documentation as well as field visits in partnership with implementation teams.
  • Support organisational reporting work by creating synthesised information packets as per the program/thematic area of work in question.
  • Lead or contribute to key analysis programs – quantitative and qualitative which would convert to knowledge products of the organisation across its sectors of work.
  • Develop and provide content based on ongoing analysis and information collection for digital media and other outreach

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in data analysis, research, finance, development studies, economics or a related field.
  • Self-motivated, responsible and should be engaged and highly interested in the developmental agenda with an intention to be fully involved.
  • Ability to learn quickly from multiple subject areas and be a team player with excellent managerial and people skills to mentor and motivate other team members 7
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of other local languages – Kannada, Hindi, Odia, Assamese is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel
