Eligibility
· Graduate in any discipline
· 5-8+ years experience in NGO Management /
Administration role
· Experience in Financial Management
· Key Understanding of HR in an NGO context
· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
· Proficient in Hindi & English – both written & verbal
IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC PLAN
Responsible to play a supporting role in the organisation and to drive the implementation of the Muskan Strategic Plan across all levels.
ORGANISATION MANAGEMENT
• Will be responsible for the update and implementation of all policies at Muskan to ensure the smooth, professional operation of the NGO.
• Will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and professional running of Muskan, in collaboration with COO.
• Will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and maximization of all facilities and equipment at Muskan.
• Will be responsible to maintain complete records pertaining to the Trust/Board’s organization, activities and properties.
• Will be responsible to bring appropriate issues and policy decisions to the COO in a timely manner for discussion and resolution.
• Will be responsible to maintain all regulatory compliances and certifications (ie FCRA, Certifications, Registrations etc.) in collaboration with Accountant, including liaison with Government Departments.
HUMAN RESOURCES
• Will be responsible for the recruitment and induction of all staff in accordance with Local Laws and Board policies – adhering to strict recruitment process.
• Will be responsible to handle all grievances in relation to HR, Salaries, and compensation, working in collaboration with key advisors.
FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT & FUNDRAISING
• Tracking of income/expenditure in accordance with that budget.
• Will be responsible for the overall financial management of Muskan, in collaboration with Chief Operating Officer
• Will be responsible for the streamlining of all costs and programs at Muskan.
• Will be responsible to provide monthly financial reports to the Board.
• Support in driving fundraising (corporate donors, grants, HNIs) and income generation (via fee paying students) at Muskan.
PROFESSIONALISATION OF PROGRAMS
• Will be responsible for working with Program and Centre Managers to plan the efficient running of all programs, including the development of necessary systems and processes.
• Will be responsible to work with key internal stakeholders to plan, document and drive the growth of new programs (ie NGO Training) for the enhanced reach and impact of Muskan across the Disability sector.
• Will be responsible for overseeing Monitoring and Evaluation, in collaboration with Chief Program Officer, to capture key data to track the outcomes and impact of Muskan.
• Will be responsible to oversee the development of key systems and processes to streamline all programs and to raise the quality and impact of program services.
OTHER
• Will be responsible to work with COO to identify key opportunities for playing a leadership role in the Disability sector and eco-system both within Mumbai and Maharashtra.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Founder & CEO.
