Job Opportunity for School Coordinator at Etasha Society in Pataudi

Job Location: Pataudi, Haryana

School Coordinator is expected to play a key role in making the school program of Project Spreading Wings successful. Project Spreading Wings aims to make adolescent girls and boys enrolled in Government Schools socially, emotionally, and economically self-reliant. 

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

●      Been instrumental in developing a creative learning community across schools

●      Have knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for creative teaching and learning as a key to raising achievement, aspiration and motivation

●      Have managed and built stakeholder relations – for eg with Principals, Teachers, parents, and other members of the community extensively throughout the programme

●      Have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with excellent written and spoken English and Hindi communication skills 

●      Ability to work on Computers and use the internet.

●      At least 2-3 years of experience of managing a team 

●      Empathy and ability to connect with young people

●      Ability to work with participatory methodologies

●      Self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement

 Role & Responsibilities:

School Coordinator is a key position in all our Programs for Adolescents, which are: ●      Scholastic Improvement Programs with students from 7thto 12th standards  

●      Career Guidance Workshops through Career Highway Digitized App with High School Students

●      Digital literacy programs with students from 7th to 12th standards   

●      Life Skills Development and Counselling with students from 7th to 12th standards 

Primary focus of the role is on 

1.     Team Management for Program Delivery

●      Training, mentoring and managing the team to ensure high quality of training delivered  

●      Coordinating with the central team for training of team and to support with life skills, career guidance and counselling of students 

●      Developing and updating content 

●      Creating Teaching learning material to enhance learning outcomes 

2.     Coordination with school management for smooth functioning

●      Getting permission from school principals to conduct programs under Project Spreading Wings  

●      Coordinating with School coordinator to schedule sessions as required, 

●      Ensuring room allocation and availability of school resources required for conduct of sessions 

●      Ensuring availability of teaching-learning material  

●      Documenting attendance and progress of students and maintaining data 

●      Reporting on the outcome of workshops to schools/ NGOs and funders

●      Writing Case histories for funder Reports, Website and Media

Current Opening and Remuneration

●      We pay between Rs. 25000 and 35000 per month, depending upon skills and experience. PF, ESI and other benefits will be available as per rules.

●      Working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm from Monday through Saturday. 

●      Regular travel  to all school locations in the defined area will be required.

●      For training purposes, travel to any location of ETASHA in Delhi, NCR, Gurgaon will need to be undertaken.
