**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to lead our research on Green Jobs and Skilling, focusing on just energy transitions. The role requires proficiency in handling labor datasets and understanding skill evaluation frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead research projects on Green Jobs and Skilling, including quantitative and qualitative methods.
– Develop methodologies for employment assessment in clean energy sectors.
– Conduct primary surveys, design instruments, sampling strategies, and coordinate with agencies.
– Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and technical documents.
– Engage stakeholders such as government bodies, industries, and CSOs.
– Represent iFOREST at public platforms to enhance brand visibility.
**Required Experience:**
5-7 years of relevant work experience in labor economics, skilling ecosystems, or related fields.
**Educational Qualification:**
Master’s degree in Economics (Labour Economics, Development Economics, Applied Economics) or a related discipline.
**Key Skills:**
– Proficiency in handling labor-related datasets.
– Understanding of India’s skilling landscape and government workforce data.
– Strong research background with expertise in data analysis.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
