Position: Senior Android Developer
Location: Remote working
Annual Remuneration: Rs. 8 to 10 LPA
We at Grameen Impact Ventures are looking for Senior Android Developer who would be involved in Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform, Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, Bug fixing and improving application performance
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Required Education & Experience:
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin (must) languages to write clear, readable, and maintainable code
- Experience in Android SDK and Android Studio
- Hands-on experience in mobile app architecture, flow, design, implementation, and release
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Proven working experience in Android app development and Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience in building end-to-end android mobile apps from design, development, and deployments to app stores
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Understanding of version control systems and tools, e.g., GitHub
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
