Role Summary

The Senior Associate, Curriculum and Training will work with the Curriculum and Training Manager on the development of the school’s staff. They will lead programs designed to accelerate the growth of new teachers and managers in the system and co-create innovative programs to impact multiple other important stakeholders in the upcoming years. Given that iTeach Schools is a young start-up, we are looking for people who will be eager to design and create the most effective systems and processes, combining researched best practices with their own contextual innovation.




I. Project Manage Staff Induction & Onboarding

Project manage the All Staff Induction for Navi Mumbai team held at the beginning of each academic year- design objectives, source facilitators, and operationalize the entire 2 weeks of learning.
Planning and facilitating key workshops in the All Staff Induction(ASI).
Facilitate training workshops for staff onboarding throughout the year.
II. Design, Facilitate & Evaluate Teacher Training Programs

Co-create with the Curriculum and Training Manager to design learning pathways for new teachers to move from Novice to Beginning Proficiency.
Co-lead the program’s execution by conducting periodic hands-on and high-impact workshops and continuously monitor & evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the program.
Curate and update pedagogical resources for the teachers to use in their daily work readily.
Identify exposure or developmental opportunities outside our system and make them accessible to the teachers.


III. Facilitate Implementation of Curriculum in Schools

Observe our schools and classrooms gathering quantitative and qualitative data about the effectiveness of implementing the iTeach Schools curriculum. 
Provide need-based support for subject teams and teachers directly or through another expert in the network.
Support the design of the primary and middle grades curriculum on a need basis. 


Experience & Competencies

Required: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree with exceptional performance as a teacher for 2+ years, preferably in middle school.
Required: Previous experience working in the development/education sector.
Exceptionally strong instructional expertise and advanced proficiency in classroom planning and


Location: The position is based out of Navi Mumbai, along with quarterly travels to Pune


Salary- Salary is decided based on the candidate’s education and work experience. Our usual compensation for this role lies between 5.15 Lakh Per Annum – 6.18 Lakh Per Annum. We also take pride in providing the best of industry benefits such as PF, Gratuity, Medical Insurance etc.
