Background of The Hans Foundation
The Hans Foundation, established in 2009, is a non- for -profit, Public Charitable Trust that that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions. THF undertakes direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing funding support to not-for-profit organisations in India through its donor – RIST, USA. THF’s Strategic planning focuses on key areas of its work with the aim of addressing the key issues of poverty alleviation, economic inequalities, and 360° impact on the quality of life through social development programs. THF’s programs are majorly implemented in the most rural and under-developed areas in the country. Over the years, THF has expanded its charitable activities in collaboration with State and Central Governments, institutions, corporates, academia and non-government organizations for sustainable interventions to achieve scale and economy. The interventions implemented by the foundation range from grass root level to national level programs.
Job Purpose:
Senior Associate-Digital Fundraising will be responsible for developing and executing effective digital fundraising strategies to generate donations and support for our organization. Role will involve managing the THF website as well as utilizing various online platforms and marketing techniques to engage donors, raise awareness, and drive fundraising efforts. Candidate will collaborate with the donor and communications teams to ensure a cohesive approach across all digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and a passion for using technology and communications for social impact.

Job Title: Senior Associate-Digital Fundraising
Location of Job: Gurugram (Work from Office role)

Type of Employment: Contractual for one year, may be converted to permanent role based on performance.
Reporting to: Manager – Communications & Donor Relationships
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital fundraising strategies and campaigns to maximize donation acquisition and retention.
- Utilize digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and crowdfunding platforms, to engage donors and increase online giving.
- Optimize and manage the foundation’s website, including project and donation pages and online fundraising platforms to streamline the donation process and enhance user experience.
- Create compelling and persuasive fundraising content, such as emails, and website copy, to inspire donations.
- Monitor and analyse digital fundraising performance metrics, including conversion rates, donation amounts, and donor engagement, and make data-driven recommendations to improve results.
- Segment donor data and personalize digital fundraising campaigns to target specific donor segments with tailored messages.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital fundraising efforts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital fundraising, and provide recommendations for innovative approaches to maximize fundraising potential.
- Assist to develop and nurture relationships with key online influencers, partners, and stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of digital fundraising efforts.
- Support the organization’s overall fundraising goals by coordinating digital fundraising initiatives with offline fundraising activities.
- Assist supervisor & program team for assigned any other task.
Other Indicative Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors from a recognized institute is required.
- Educational qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field would be preferred.
- Educational qualifications in a social sector or development-related field (MSW, MPP, MPA, Development Studies or similar qualification) from recognised institute can also be considered.
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)
- 1-3 years of Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in the non-profit or fundraising sector.
- Proficiency in using various digital platforms and tools, such as social media management software, email marketing platforms, and website analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital fundraising techniques, including website SEO management, email campaigns, crowdfunding, and online advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling fundraising content.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret data to optimize fundraising campaigns.
- Creativity and innovation in developing effective digital fundraising strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the organization’s mission and a genuine interest in using digital platforms to make a positive impact.
