About PSAG 

TEA has set up a PSAG (Project Support and Advisory Group) to drive key strategic priorities for the School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh. One of the programs under PSAG is the Chief Minister’s flagship project ‘CM RISE Schools’ – a set of 9,200 government schools being developed over the next 10 years as integrated K-12 fully resourced schools that offer high-quality education. These lighthouse schools are set out to bring in a new momentum in the MP public education by ensuring that all children in the state have access to a comprehensive learning environment through state-of-the-art infrastructure, competent teaching staff, and high-impact academic initiatives. The state has directed a disproportionate amount of funds towards the infrastructural requirements for CM RISE Schools, with thoughtfully designed campuses, best-in-class interior design, and outdoor facilities to ensure holistic learning for each child. 150+ of these schools are already in the construction stage, processes are in place to closely monitor and govern the construction progress with a strong PMU comprising of both internal and external stakeholders

Job Summary

The scope of the PSAG Senior Associate involves working in close quarters with senior bureaucrat(s) in orchestrating overall program management, defining strategy/design, and driving the related day-to-day execution across various workstreams. In addition, the role will include driving stakeholder management with all partner organizations involved, precisely, in driving their core strategic focus and ensuring logical convergence with wider department mandates. Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Associate role is a dynamic opportunity to support our program managers in orchestrating overall program management, defining strategy/design, and driving day-to-day execution across various workstreams. This role will also include driving stakeholder management with all partner organizations involved, ensuring that their core strategic focus aligns with wider department mandates.

  • Supporting the project manager, department stakeholders in overseeing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders including the management, government officials, and partner organizations, and ensuring that the project is progressing as planned
  • Assisting the project manager in managing resources, including staffing, and materials needed for the project.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government officials and partner organizations, and team members.
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform project planning and decision-making
  • Developing and delivering project-related communications to all stakeholders, including project status updates, reports, and presentation
  • Tracking project milestones and progress and providing regular status updates to the project manager and other stakeholders
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and collaborating with the Project Manager to implement changes that enhance project performance and outcomes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-4 years of work experience in consulting/government/education sectors
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), experience in documentation, writing reports, proposals, and presentation skills
  • Analytically strong, with an ability to understand, work with, and draw insights from data; familiarity with data analysis tools
  • Ability to coordinate between and build relationships with various stakeholders within the government and with partner organizations
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, and maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong project management skills – prioritization, setting goals, assessing progress and course-correction
  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact/prior experience working in the social sector
  • Innovative thinker with a strong interest in developing new ideas and championing those initiatives with senior stakeholders

Salary: 06+ LPA
