**Role Overview:**
The Senior Coordinator – Block will work closely with the District Lead and Coordinator – Community Development (CCD) to oversee block-level operations in alignment with the Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and Taron Ki Toli (TKT) Curriculum. This role focuses on driving behavior change among adolescents and youth, empowering them to challenge gender-based violence and promote equality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Plan, implement, and manage activities as per the assigned PIP at the block level.
– Coordinate with block-level officials from Health, Education, PRI, Social Welfare, Probation, etc., to ensure smooth program delivery.
– Facilitate TKT sessions in schools and communities, particularly with adolescents and youth.
– Engage key stakeholders at the block and village levels to achieve program deliverables.
– Collaborate with existing networks, SHGs, and other alliances to amplify collective voices for adolescent empowerment.
– Plan, execute, and monitor training and capacity-building activities as per assigned plans.
– Support joint planning and field visits with the District Lead.
– Submit daily and monthly reports to the District Lead.
– Prepare activity plans aligned with project objectives, PIP, and TKT Curriculum.
– Liaise with block-level stakeholders, including panchayat members and government officials, to secure support for program activities.
– Assist in day-to-day reporting, use of MIS, and collection of field data.
– Identify and document good case studies from the field regularly.
**Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:**
– 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in gender equity, adolescent empowerment, or community development initiatives.
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
– Result-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
– Willingness to travel frequently.
– Strong documentation and reporting skills.
– Excellent facilitation, communication (English and Hindi), interpersonal, and networking abilities.
– Experience in data management, analysis, and interpretation for informed decision-making.
– Budgeting and financial management skills, including planning, monitoring, and reporting expenditures.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with MIS tools.
