**Job Description:**

 

Under the supervision of the NPO – Data and Programme Management and the Data Unit Lead, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for:

 

* Monitoring and ensuring accurate and timely collection, collation, and dissemination of surveillance and immunization data.

* Overseeing the correlation of case data with laboratory data for analysis.

* Overseeing the compilation and dissemination of SIA coverage and monitoring data.

* Overseeing the compilation and dissemination of Routine Immunization (RI) monitoring data.

* Overseeing the development and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and reports.

* Monitoring and ensuring timely dissemination of data, indicators, reports, and bulletins.

* Overseeing the development and maintenance of dashboards for data visualization.

* Monitoring and ensuring timely collection, collation, and dissemination of demographic and geographic data.

* Applying quality checks on data and analyzed reports.

* Providing guidance to the team on data disbursement to support field staff and laboratories.

* Limiting the risk of data loss through regular backups and implementing measures to ensure data security.

* Working with the systems team in developing data management systems.

* Designing training modules for field staff and laboratory data management staff on data management and analysis.

* Supporting other organizational programs as assigned.

 

 

**Experience Required:**

 

* **Essential:** At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience in data handling and management.

* **Desirable:** Experience working in WHO/UN/International organizations, MNCs, reputed Indian companies, or NGOs.

 

 

**Education:**

 

* **Essential:** Secondary, technical, or commercial school education.

* **Desirable:** Graduate/Postgraduate degree in computer science, information technology, demography, or a related field from a recognized university.

 

 

**Skills:**

 

* Proficiency in one or more of the following computer languages: JAVA/J2EE, VB, C#, MSSQL, MySQL, SQL, PGADMIN, DBEAVER, ACCESS, EXCEL, EPI INFO, ARC VIEW, and ANDROID mobile application development.

**Languages:**

**Remuneration:**

 

Monthly remuneration is INR 135,835 (taxable as per Indian laws).  The appointment will be through a Special Services Agreement (SSA), extendable subject to performance and need. The position is based in New Delhi and may require extensive travel (up to 15 days per month).  Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
