Skills & Competencies required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master degree  in social sciences, social work, agriculture, rural development, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in rural development and community work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
     
    Skills and Competencies:
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning and work.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel at least a week in month and work in rural areas.
     
    Job Profile
     
  • Field Work and Community Engagement:
  • Assist in mobilizing and organizing community members/groups.
  • Facilitate community meetings and training sessions.
  • Support community members in planning and implementing development activities.
    Project Implementation:
  •  
  • Assist in the execution of project activities as per the project guidelines  
  • Monitor and report on the progress of project activities.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of project inputs and outputs.
    Data Collection and Reporting:
  • Collect field data and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare regular reports on project activities and outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving project effectiveness.
    Capacity Building:
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops organized by AKRSPI.
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of training materials.
    Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with local government officials and other organizations involved in rural development.
