## Senior Dialysis Technician

**About The Position:**

The Hans Foundation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Dialysis Technician to join their Hans Renal Care Centers (HRCC) team.  HRCC is an innovative healthcare program providing essential dialysis services to vulnerable populations and individuals suffering from chronic kidney disease.

**Job Location:** Dharmshala, India

**Employment Type:** Contractual, for 1 year with potential for renewal based on performance.

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintain and clean dialysis machines and equipment.

* Sanitize and clean the dialysis machine and surrounding area to prevent infection.

* Monitor water treatment and dialyzer reprocessing.

* Observe patients during treatment, monitoring for signs of medical emergencies and assisting with any questions or concerns.

* Educate patients on dialysis procedures and their importance.

* Make adjustments to treatment plans to maintain safety.

* Collaborate with nurses and doctors to administer correct treatments.

* Explain the dialysis process to patients and their families.

* Monitor patients’ vascular access.

* Teach patients about additional healthcare practices to improve dialysis outcomes.

* Prepare patients for procedures and administer local anesthesia.

* Create written reports on patient progress for doctors.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives at the center.

* Provide excellent and efficient patient care.

* Document pre-dialysis specifications, including patient weight, temperature, and vital signs.

**Requirements:**

* Degree / Diploma in Dialysis

* Minimum 6-7 years of experience in a Dialysis Centre with a strong knowledge base and skills.

* Excellent communication and documentation skills in both English and Hindi.

* Strong data analysis, reporting, and presentation abilities.

* Willingness to travel extensively to remote areas.
